Over 20 million people in the U.S. became instantly unemployed when it was determined that the only way to defeat this horrific virus was to shut down businesses across the nation. One second a person was gainfully employed, a switch was turned, and then the room went dark on their livelihood.

Day 37 of At-Home Quarantine and Still the Very Busy Office
I try not to look at the calendar as it brings everything to reality. For this blog, I will say that I have been on home quarantine now for 37 days and I will continue until COVID is under control. I understand that compared to the rest of the world and in many places in the country this is not very long. But, for an administrator/Broker for an office of 7 agents, an Executive Assistant and a satellite office of 5 agents I am lonely. The typical day would be blistering fast with agents that fly into the office and stop and tell me that they just met with a great person that wants to list their house or that they just showed 4 great properties and will be writing up an offer soon. Marc Drapeau, president of the New Hampshire Association of Realtors moderated a panel discussion and press conference recently with several members of the New Hampshire realty community to discuss trends amid the pandemic.
